Disney Princesses

There are six main Disney Princesses. This page is going to have a bit about them.

Princess Ariel

Princess Ariel is from the Disney movie The Little Mermaid
Name: Ariel
Hair Color: Red
Dress Color: White
Prince: Prince Eric
Father: King Triton
Villain: Ursula, the Sea Witch
Spell: Ursula gives Ariel legs in exchange for her beautiful voice, which Ursula keeps. Ursula then turns herself into a human and fools Prince Eric into believing she is his dream girl. When the truth comes out in the end, Ariel turns back into a mermaid and the Prince finds out the truth. King Triton finally turns his daughter into a human and she and the Prince marry.

Princess Aurora

Princess Aurora is from the Disney movie Sleeping Beauty
Name: Briar Rose, or Aurora
Hair Color: Blonde
Dress Color: Blue and Pink. In pictures, usually pink.
Prince: Prince Phillip
Fairies: Flora, Fauna, Merryweather
Villain: Maleficent
Spell: Aurora is to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die, but the fairies fix the spell so that she is only to fall to a deep sleep until she is awakened by true love's kiss.

Princess Belle

Princess Belle is from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast
Name: Belle
Hair Color: Brown
Dress Color: Yellow
Prince: The Beast

Icon: The Rose
Villain: Gaston
Spell: The Beast and his castle are cast under a spell when he turns away a disguised sorceress from his door. As a curse, she leaves him as a Beast and leaves the rose. If he can love and be loved in return before all of the rose petals have fallen, then the spell will be broken.

Princess Cinderella

Princess Cinderella is from the Disney movie Cinderella
Name: Cinderella
Hair Color: Blonde
Dress Color: Blue, (white with glitter, like crystal).
Prince: Prince Charming
Icon: The glass slipper
Fairy: The Fairy Godmother
Villain: The Stepmother, Lady Tremaine, and the stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella
Spell: Cinderella is allowed to go to the Ball by the Fairy Godmother, but must return before the stroke of midnight. She leaves behind her glass slipper in a rush to get back home, and the Prince is doing all he can to find her. The wicked stepmother realizes Cinderella was the Prince's love, and locks her in her room. Cinderella's animal friends save her and she gets downstairs to try on the slipper, but Lady Tremaine trips the man and the slipper shatters. Cinderella, however, has the other glass slipper and is married to the Prince.

Princess Jasmine

Princess Jasmine is from the Disney movie Aladdin
Name: Jasmine
Hair Color: Black
Dress Color: Blue, a sort of teal blue, but Jasmine does not wear a dress, she wears a sort of pant suit.
Prince: Not really a Prince, a villager named Aladdin
Icon: the magic carpet and the lamp
Fairies: not really a Fairy, a Genie
Villain: Jafar, Jasmine's father's chief advisor
Spell: Aladdin turns himself into Prince Ali in order to marry Jasmine, but Jafar discovers his magic lamp and reveals Ali to be the poor Aladdin. But Jasmine accepted Aladdin as he was, and her father the Sultan changes the law so Jasmine will not have to marry a Prince, and she chooses Aladdin.

Princess Snow White

Princess Snow White is from the Disney movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Name: Snow White
Hair Color: Black
Dress Color: Blue/Purple, yellow, and some red.
Prince: Prince Charming
Icon: the red apple
Villain: the evil Queen
Spell: Snow White flees from the castle because the Queen plans to kill her. She finds friendship in the seven dwarfs, but the Queen finds her and plans to kill her. She manages to disguise herself as an old woman and feeds Snow White an apple with the promise that it is a magic wishing apple. Snow White falls into a deep sleep from which she can only be woken by love's first kiss. The dwarfs kill the evil Queen when she has already poisoned Snow White, and feel that Snow White is so beautiful that they make a glass coffin for her and place it in the middle of the forest. Prince Charming goes to see the beautiful maiden in the forest and sees that it is the girl to which he sung in the beginning of the movie. He kisses her, as a form of goodbye, and she wakes and they go to the Prince's castle and live happily ever after.
